Welcome to my art. I create both graphic art (logos and map symbols) and digital paintings. I use computer software and mobile apps for my images. Some images begin on the computer and then are fine-tuned on an iPad or iPhone. For others, the workflow goes in the opposite direction, from mobile device to computer.

This logo was developed by applying effects to the type characters in Adobe Illustrator. The resulting visual effect was used by Adobe in its Illustrator software’s graphic effects library for several years.

The Jesus Prayer, short form, mixing painted lettering and conventional font.
A proposed logo, created in Affinity Designer, for a small meditation group. The group used the word Maranatha and pronounced it in three parts, as implied in the logo.
For this poster design, I used Affinity Design to paint the background in the Pixel Persona and add text in the Designer Persona where I gave the words blur and glow special effects.
